What is the cancellation and refund policy for this car on HireACar?

Accepted Answer

Pending bookings can be cancelled by the renter at any time at no cost. Approved bookings can be cancelled up to 24 hours before the scheduled pickup; cancellations inside the 24-hour window are not allowed from the app. Hosts can only cancel an approved booking up to 72 hours (3 days) before pickup — within 72 hours of pickup hosts can no longer cancel. Can I chat with the owner of this car before paying?

Accepted Answer

No. To protect both renters and owners, the in-app chat with a host only opens after the booking has been paid and approved. The car detail page lists everything you need to decide — photos, features, rules, pickup location and reviews — before you book.
