Request permanent deletion of your HireACar account and personal data

Please note: Submitting this request will permanently delete your HireACar account and all associated data. This action cannot be undone.

How to Request Account Deletion

Follow these steps to request deletion of your HireACar account:

Enter your email — In the form below, enter the email address associated with your HireACar account.
Submit the request — Click the "Request Account Deletion" button.
Confirmation — You will see an on-screen confirmation that your request has been received.
Processing — Your account and data will be permanently deleted within 7 business days.

Delete from within the app: You can also delete your account directly in the HireACar app. Go to Profile → Settings → Delete Account and follow the prompts.

Data That Will Be Deleted

When your account deletion request is processed, the following data will be permanently deleted:

Category	Details
Profile Information	Name, email address, phone number, profile photo
Identity Documents	CNIC / national ID number
Payment Details	Saved card information (card number, expiry, CVC)
Booking History	All past and upcoming rental bookings
Vehicle Listings	Car listings, photos, and pricing (if you are a host)
Messages & Conversations	All chat messages and conversation threads
Reviews	Reviews you have written
Push Notification Tokens	Device tokens used for notifications

Data That May Be Retained

Category	Details
Transaction Metadata	Anonymized booking and payment metadata may be retained for up to 90 days after deletion for legal, accounting, and dispute resolution purposes.
Firebase Authentication	Your Firebase authentication record (managed by Google) will be deleted as part of account processing. Note: this is managed by a third-party service.
