Rent a car by the hour in Lahore
On HireACar you can rent a car in Lahore by the hour and drive it yourself: 3 cars from Rs 499 an hour, for 4 to 12 hours. The price on each car includes HireACar's fee. Fuel is yours, and the price of extra hours is shown before you book. Bookings open soon, once card and wallet payments are live.

How it works
- Pick a start time and how many hours: 4 to 12.
- Send a free request. The owner accepts or declines it.
- Once accepted, pay online to confirm. The car is held for you meanwhile.
- Pick up with your CNIC and driving licence. Return on time, with the same fuel level.

Booking by the hour never costs more than the day price.
The rules
- 4 hours minimum, 12 hours maximum. For longer, book by the day.
- Returning late: after 30 minutes of grace on hourly trips (1 hour on daily trips), each started hour is charged at the car’s hourly rate, up to one day’s price per day late.
- Requests can be cancelled free of charge until you have paid. After that, renters can cancel up to 24 hours before pickup and hosts up to 72 hours before pickup. Refunds are sent back by bank transfer and usually arrive within 2–5 business days. Full details: hireacar.pk/terms#cancellation
- Self-drive only, unless the car page says the owner offers a driver.
- Nobody may keep your original CNIC, licence or other documents, ask for a cheque, or ask for a guarantor. HireACar checks your identity instead. Report a host who asks.
HireACar is a marketplace. The car belongs to the host, and the rental is an agreement between you and the host. HireACar is not responsible for any loss, damage, theft, accident, fine or injury involving the car.
By the hour, ride-hailing, or a day rental?
- One trip from A to B: ride-hailing is usually cheaper.
- Several stops, errands, meetings, a family visit: an hourly self-drive car.
- A full day or more: book by the day.

What is the minimum?

What if I am late?

Is there a deposit?
HireACar does not hold deposits. If an owner asks for a security deposit, the amount and how it is returned are agreed with the owner before pickup.
What do I need?
Every renter signs up with a verified phone number and gives their CNIC number and a photo of the front of the card. Self-drive also needs a valid Pakistani driving licence. Owners may look at the original card at pickup, but may not keep it or any other original document. Nobody may keep your original CNIC, licence or other documents, ask for a cheque, or ask for a guarantor. HireACar checks your identity instead. Report a host who asks.
Can I leave Lahore?
Only if the owner allows it. Say where you are going in your request, and the owner confirms.
What about fuel?
Return the car with the same fuel level as at pickup. Fuel, tolls and parking during the trip are yours.
